1. Introduction, Your Qualification, Education, Current Designation, and Company details.
Ramesh. K Qualification is B. Pharm. My current designation is the scientific editor at CIMS medica
How did I join to Rise training? It was a story where I struggled a lot. I’m the guy who doesn’t know about the pharm market. In my college, I heard that only these pharma company jobs and medical shops. So, after graduation, I was at the company as a trainee QA, where I really hated my life. The reason is I was doing work that anyone can do, also I was working with a very low salary.
So then, I realized it’s gonna not work for sure, we have to change our job profile. Then I joined as a pharmacist in Apollo Pharmacy. But, here also the same problem, low salary with no due respect. Of course, it’s a great job being pharmacists we are saving lives.
Again, I have to quit my job. I started doing research, what actually pharmacy students doing. Logged into LinkedIn, spent more time on pharma it careers & prospects.
2. How did you know about Rise Trainings ? How did you make your decision to join Rise Trainings ?
I’m randomly surfing the LinkedIn. I saw, Kiran Kumar Chemudugunta sir LinkedIn post. It was a webinar post about pharmacovigilance. I had joined, he taught basics of pharmacovigilance, how to get the job very nicely in a structured manner.
I thought okay, this is what I want and what I was searching for. Then I did some survey about Rise Trainings, I saw ratings and review on google and even checked with my LinkedIn friends. Everyone said, it was a good training centre, you can join.
Meanwhile, I was getting lot of calls, from Cliniindia, the white board and few other institutions. But they were asking high amount, which was not affordable and cost effective.
But then I come to know Rise Trainings would providing training with 15K, with all best features. I thought okey this would be the best place to learn. Then I have joined.
3. Career Journey from past to present ?
My journey at rise training was amazing. When u started my course, I really don’t know, how to do job search and giving self-introduction and all. But later after the classes, I have gained a lot, like how to give self-introduction, how to use LinkedIn effectively, and how to approach HR professionals. Those were very effectively worked in my job searching.
4. How’s the whole journey ? How many interviews have you tried to reach career goal ?
It was a great journey. My spoken English has been improved, learnt how to market our resume very well and what are the relevant jobs in market. The interviews I had tried in rise training was one and I missed one more interview opportunity. I have given 8 or 9 interviews through Linkedin and Naukri. Some are telephonic and few are virtual.
5. Support system:
I have tried, LinkedIn jobs Naukri, indeed and Linkedin posts effectively. From rise training, got good knowledge about PV from the lectures and Argus database. This Argus database would highlight ours in our resume page.
6. Do you think coaching is important and how would a coaching institute like trainings should support ?
Yes. Coaching is important. You could perform very well in interviews, of course there is no doubt in that. Institute support, what I felt is, if you provide more job posts contacts, referring to companies, that would be better. Of course, you’re doing. We need more sir, because our moto is getting job faster, if it’s takes long time, our mind easily gets distracted.
7. What’s your suggestions or feedback for your friends or juniors who are looking for jobs ?

I am not so super guy to suggest anybody. I am just like you (friends). But what I faced is, while giving interviews, prepare well, we should more interviews for exposure, speak well in interviews, improve interview skills, watch YouTube videos to improve and apply wherever you could a pharma job post. Don’t miss any opportunity coming across. And one more trying job with strenuous effort is more important.

Still, I remembered I the inspiring words, which Kiran sir has shared with ours while taking classes, that is

“Sweat more in training, bleed less in battle”.

It was so relating and resonating to all of youngsters like me. This is my feedback.

Thank you.
